Photography Workshop with Boomer Jerritt in the Great Bear Rainforest

June 2012

Photography Charters with Mothership Adventures

We hosted a few Great Bear Rainforest Photography Workshops with renowned wildlife photographer Boomer Jerrit. These tours offered an exciting opportunity to develop guests’ digital photography skills while experiencing BC’s Great Bear Rainforest from the comfort of the Columbia III. The Great Bear Rainforest is BC’s premier wilderness destination, from remote surf-swept beaches to steep-sided glacier-carved fjords. In addition to the stunning and plentiful marine life, we were lucky enough to witness grizzly bears feeding in the spring estuaries amongst the purple lupines.

Digital photography has revolutionized the way we all take pictures. From the composition of the photo to the manipulation of the data and enhancement techniques after the image is captured, there is a tremendous amount to learn. In the relaxed, informal atmosphere of the Columbia III, Boomer Jerritt discussed all aspects of photographic technique and reviewed guests’ photos from each day’s outing. All skill levels were welcomed, the only pre-requisites was having a love of nature and an inquisitive spirit.

Boomer Jerritt has been involved in the photographic industry since 1990. Since his business’s inception, he has served regional, national, and international clientele.
